June 16th sees the annual Sears-Halifax Summer Party. This is the way the club celebrates the end of the Toastmasters year and the achievements of the club, but more importantly it’s members.
The venue is still to be decided, but as usual it will start at 6.30pm. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Soft Drinks will be provided by the club, salads and desserts are on a Pot Luck basis and supplied by the members who attend.
Come along, let your hair down (those of you that have some) and have fun!!
June 18th – Toastmasters Learning Institute (TLI). A must for all new executive members and a wealth of information available for all. Also a worthwhile event if you are considering a role on the executive and want to find out more. It will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Fellowship at 320 Flying Cloud Drive, Cole Harbour from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Cost is $10 per club.
