February 2011 saw Sears-Halifax Toastmasters Club celebrate the 55th Anniversary of it’s original Club Charter. Sears-Halifax is the oldest existing Toastmasters Club in Nova Scotia.
To celebrate reaching this historic milestone, the club held a Gala dinner at The Atlantica Hotel on May 7th.
The evening started with a social at 6pm followed by dinner and various events through the evening including door prizes.
Our Guest Speaker, Neil Everton of Podium Media & Communications Coaching gave us some great tips from their ‘TalkitOut’ technique.
